I'm a Santa Monica- based designer focused on branding, interactive design, print & digital production.
I was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1988. I grew up with very little resources but a lot of determination. I decided to become a designer at 17, dropped out of school and worked in a print shop for a few years. I went back to study at the National College of Art & Design and earned my degree in Graphic Design & Illustration. I then decided to travel and broaden my horizons - so I moved to New Zealand, The Netherlands, back to Ireland, and eventually settled in Los Angeles, CA.
I consider myself to be a Hybrid Designer.
What that means is I've acquired a wide range of skills and have developed an ability to pivot from creative to technical roles as the project requires. My responsibilities have varied from creating awesome designs for digital, interactive and print formats through to being responsible for brand style guides, website design/development and designing animated HTML5 web banners.
I love to learn & develop my skills and I thrive in a team environment where we can share knowledge, stories & elevate each others' talents.
I'm looking to join an ambitious company where I can work as part of a team developing brand/marketing strategies & visual identities. I would love to expand on my skills and learn more about direct marketing techniques and further develop my web design & UI/UX expertise.
